today, after a dark cold and rainy day, sun is back again
hope that in the middle italy weather will be nice too (I live in the upper north)
today is no-B-day and would like that people could freely protest in the sun
I feel always so sad when I see a popular demonstration under a hard rain
many famous intellectuals (pasolini, to tell one of the greatest) expressed in years their scepticism about public street demonstration
but for the first time after years I really would like to be there with people protesting
maybe some of you can’t understand why lately I am so sensible to dark reflections /
italy is crossing a bad moment and many people are without work (lost mine too)
immigrants are not respected as it should be, and public state is gradually disappearing
for this and for more – hope this government will be over as soon as possible
(the video is in italian but images talk alone and this song of rino gaetano always glosses my eyes)

a new cafè has recently opened very close to where I live
it is quiet and pleasant, with a couple of old armchair in a corner, books on the shelves, and a good selection of equal exchange teas
took some few photos while having breakfast
this bar is part of a local circuit and also have a website with some nice music, all in coffee theme/ link
then I had a short walk to test new lens with film camera
still find some autumn colors here around – warm and intense, they detach on grey

The series of events that lead to its realisation – a donation from Ugo Carà of some works to his native town, the acceptation on the part of the authorities of the idea of creating a new building suitable for housing them and key financial support from a banking foundation for its construction – now requires a commitment to management in order to establish the building as an important part of the museum circuit for Trieste and the surrounding area. The materials used in the design – such as wood and cor-ten steel – hark back to Muggia’s shipbuilding past and recollections of the legendary cooperative that was based right here. |

behind it’s hidden the brilliant talent of john gall
looking at his works I run with my mind to details of some renaissance paintings, some botticelli or angelico
but he feels closer to hieronymus bosch probably
yet his spirit is strictly contemporary and his style so unconventional
